Composed of USIT alumni, the Giving Committee is the governing body of the USIT Foundation. The Giving Committee sets annual giving objectives, philanthropic focus areas, and final recommendations for fund distribution. The Giving Committee works closely with the student-led analyst team throughout the year, providing guidance and direction in the diligence process for determining donation opportunities and charities.

Chengxi Gang

Chairperson

Chengxi is an Investment Banking Analyst at Moelis & Company, currently based in New York City. A member of PIT's second analyst class, he was the President and Director of Philanthropy from 2023-2024. He graduated in 2025 with degrees in BHP, Plan II, and finance. He is passionate about issues relating to criminal justice and opportunity. In his free time, Chengxi enjoys following current events and expanding his LEGO collection.

Matt Rindelaub | Member

Matt is a Portfolio Manager at ExodusPoint, a leading investment management firm. An inaugural member of the Giving Committee, he graduated from UT Austin in 2016 with degrees in finance and economics. He previously served as Director of Investment for USIT from 2015-2016.

Manideep Ravi | Member

Manideep is a Vice President at HPS Investment Partners, a leading alternative credit manager. He was previously an Analyst at Jefferies in Houston, and graduated from UT Austin in 2016 with degrees in finance and economics. Outside of work, he enjoys boxing.

Taha Siddiki | Member

Taha is an Investor at Conenexa Capital in New York City. A Portfolio Manager for the inaugural PIT team and previous USIT Vice President, he graduated from UT Austin in 2021 with a degree in finance.

Michelle Zhang | Member

Michelle is a Private Equity Associate at Towerbrook, currently based in New York City. She was previously an Analyst at Moelis & Company. She served as a Portfolio Manager from 2021-2022 and graduated from UT Austin in 2023 with degrees in BHP and finance.

Nilay Gandhi | Member

Nilay is a Senior Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. A member of PIT’s inaugural class, he served as President and Director of Philanthropy from 2022-2023. He graduated from UT Austin in 2024 with degrees in finance and government.

Dinesh Elanchezhian | Member

Dinesh is a Computational Biologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering, a top-ranked cancer center located in New York City. He served as Director of Philanthropy from 2024-2025 and graduated from UT Austin in 2026 with degrees in economics and computational biology.
