The USIT Foundation’s outstanding philanthropy is a reflection of our talented executive board and analysts who comprise the Philanthropy Investment Team. Our members have diverse, multidisciplinary interests and have pursued a wide-ranging set of careers post-graduation.
The Philanthropy Investment Team, or PIT, is a dedicated group of analysts that monitor charity investments in the portfolio, lead donation pitches for charities, and mentor future analysts within the social impact field. PIT Analysts go through an accelerated finance and accounting curriculum centered around non-profit investments. Members of PIT are chosen through a competitive application and interview process yearly.

Chengxi Gang | Director of Philanthropy
BHP, Plan II, Finance - Class of 2025
Chengxi is a junior majoring in Business Honors, Plan II, and Finance. He is a major LEGO enthusiast and loves to expand his collection (reach out with any LEGO-related questions). Chengxi is passionate about effective altruism and philanthropy and previously served as a Portfolio Manager for the Recidivism Vertical. This summer, Chengxi interned at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He will return to New York next summer and intern as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Moelis & Company.
Nilay Gandhi | Portfolio Manager
Finance, Government - Class of 2024
Nilay is a senior Finance and Government major. Outside of school, he’s interested in philosophy, powerlifting, and lifestyle podcasts. A member of PIT since its inaugural year, Nilay is passionate about the intersection of business and social impact. This summer, Nilay interned as a Summer Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company.
Audrey Granmayeh | Portfolio Manager

Audrey is a junior majoring in Finance and minoring in Persian Studies and Accounting. She enjoys reading and exploring new places and foods with the people closest to her. Next summer, she will intern as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Lazard in NYC.

Elaine is a junior majoring in Business Honors and Finance. Outside of USIT, Elaine is involved with Texas CYC. In her free time, she loves learning more about skincare! Next summer, she will be interning at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Last summer, she interned as a Private & Public Equities Intern at State Farm. This past summer, Kate interned as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Rothschild & Company in NYC.

Cedric is a senior majoring in Finance. Outside of USIT, Cedric is involved with the Clements Center and Texas Wake. In his free time, he likes watching gangster movies, playing board/card games, and pretending to understand sports. This past summer, he interned at Apax Partners, a private equity firm.
